This was a great ride starting out at Islip (KISP) and heading northwest (going almost right over my house in Commack) up Long Island sound out over Laguardia Airport (KLGA), then due west over northern Manhattan, turning south down the Hudson River in to NY Harbor. After that we turned east over the Varrazano-Narrow Bridge heading into Kennedy Intl. (KJFK) airspace at alt. 2000ft. Well as expected no permission given for this (KLGA was no problem) so we dropped down to 500ft. at the same level as the banner planes over Coney Island. After Kennedy it was back up to level 2000 and out to the Great South Bay once again turning north for our approach and return the airport. It was a thrill!! See 130 images below.
